Scorecard
The HERO Employee Health Management (EHM)
Best Practice Scorecard is designed to help organizations learn
about EHM best practices – and discover opportunities to improve
their programs and measure progress over time.
Developed in consultation with leading authorities on EHM, the
Scorecard can be of practical and strategic use. It’s a free
online survey that teaches you about EHM best practices as you
complete it – and provides you with an instant assessment of how
your program stacks up to others in the national Scorecard
database.
The Scorecard is…
…an inventory of best practices
The Scorecard provides a valuable inventory of best practices to
guide strategic planning. Covering six foundational elements of
EHM -- Strategic Planning, Leadership Engagement, Program-Level
Management, Programs, Engagement Methods and Measurement and
Evaluation -- the questions serve as a checklist of best
practices in each area. These practices have been assigned
scores based on the extent to which they contribute to program
success. The Scorecard also asks for participation rates, cost
and outcomes, using metrics selected by a broad panel of EHM
experts.
…an indicator of program success
Exemplary EHM programs provide services that participants value;
improve population health; and ultimately deliver a positive
return on investment. Is your program positioned to achieve
these results? You’ll receive a free report upon submitting a
completed Scorecard, comparing your organization’s scores to the
aggregate scores of all organizations in the Scorecard database.
Use this information to identify opportunities to incorporate
best practice approaches into your program.
…a powerful normative database
for benchmarking and research
When you complete the Scorecard, you’re also contributing to a
national database that will support critical research on the
relationship of program structure and outcomes (of course, your
individual responses will be kept strictly confidential).
...Confidential
Your individual responses to the Scorecard will be
kept strictly confidential. The online Scorecard data collection tool
and automated scoring system are maintained by a third-party vendor.
Only aggregated data
with no individual company identifiers will be used for normative and
research purposes, and aggregate results of research studies may be
published. Any use of your individually identifiable data for
research or other purposes will require your prior written consent.
